Pow Wow Dancer

Heron Man

I printed my first canvas and I printed it with a new printer. Also created “Heron Man” —another Pow Wow painting— the 13th image in a series of Bodini-like figures.

Optimism has returned.  Images may go “poof”…disappear from the virtual world of an external hard drive or disk; but prints are for real. Although printing is difficult and requires me to learn yet more software, technical printing skills, and understanding and handling of papers —the prints are wonderful to see. The printer makes the painting worth the labour.

This painting is really extraordinary. I love how you take the eye from the headress and clothing to the water -where the colors in each are so beautiful,– then my eye goes directly back to the Heron to really take in all the beauty that you have established in your colors and detail of “The Heron Man”. Just very exquisite and outstanding. It has your style of descriptive, action packed, respectful toward the subject and just absolutely beautiful painting. It is always unequaled in perfection that you demonstrate in your work whether, photographing, artistically painting or printing, you have made it perfect in every way. Bravo to you,
